Hip Pivot

Hip Pivot Hip Pivot
Start by placing your cones in a way that
when your athlete makes the 90� angle cut in front of the cone the next cone
will be facing him. (place cones 2 yards apart)
1-Start running in-line toward the first cone at a distance
of about 2 yards and lift the knees high at a controlled forward speed.
2-At the cone make a 90� right angle pivot on your right foot and also turn your hips fast by lifting your left knee high and quick to get an
explosive turn.
3-Keep the knees lifted high with head over feet and at the second cone make a
left explosive pivot. (same as no:2 but on the other side)
4- Keep a nice running form with controlled speed, head over feet, arms movement
and abdominals tight.
5-Repeat pattern 5 times.
