Exercise of the month (10/2006)
Split Squat with Medicine Ball on Wobble Board (intermediate)
(Legs, shoulders and Core Stability)
1- Position right foot on the Wobble Board and left foot on the floor behind you,
heel up.
2- Using both hands, hold a medicine ball in front of your chest.
3- Slowly lower the left knee toward the floor, making sure the right foot stays
under the right knee.
4- At the bottom of the movement, the left knee should be under or slightly
behind the left hip.
5- As you return to the starting position, lift the medicine ball up until you
are holding it with both hands above your head.
6- Return to starting position and repeat the movement 8 to 12 times then change
leg.
